June 27, 2006 by kernfamilyHere is a pic of my new toy…A Nikon D50 DSLR camera! I…I mean we…have only had it for 4 days but so far I really like it. Takes a little getting use to how it feels. I really like the quality pics it take and most of all how quickly it can takes them. I can fire off 4, 5, 6 or more pics in a matter of seconds. No more blurry pics of the kids because they won’t stay still. I’ve only used the different auto modes so far, nothing manual. I would guess this is how the camera will get used most times. Once I use it a little more I will try to play with some of the manual settings.

June 16, 2006 by kernfamilyWell, it's actually 1 week and 6 days until the C-Section is scheduled and "Baby Julia" comes into the world! It seems so soon and so far away at the same time, at least I think so. Heather commented that it feels like she's gonna be pregnant forever, hehe.
C-Section Class
June 13, 2006 by kernfamilyTonight I have to go to a C-Section class…yup…that's right…a C-Section class. No, I will not be learning how to perform one, but will be going over what is gonna happen when Heather has this performed on her….in 17days! I will be in the room during the C-Section trying not to pass out, maybe this class will help me with that…we'll see!
Big News
May 26, 2006 by kernfamilyWell Amanda was hired for her first job!! She will be working at our local Giant grocery store. I think she’s pretty excited about it..well excited about making some money. I know Heather and I are thrilled.
